DefiShares hereby announces that the asset snapshots of the BitShares blockchain network and the New BitShares blockchain network were generated as soheduled and completed successfully at 00:00:00 on August 5, 2026 (UTC+0). For clarity, the snapshotsrecord the relevant account and asset states of the specified networks at the stated time. The opening of the DefiShares mainnet, as well as the launch arrangements for airdropped assets, will be announced separately in subsequent official notices. Users should rely on the DefiShares official website, officialannouncements, and verifiable on-chain records, and should never provide private keys, seed phrases, or wallet passwords to unverified pages.

Wouldn't it make more sense to just pay devs using a worker proposal, airdrop only onto BTS, instead of involving a disgraced & dead blockchain?

Isn't NBS a completely dead chain now? No blocks being produced anymore? Worth effectively $0

In that case, why would you include it for an asset snapshot? There's no legitimate consensus on that chain anymore, so it shouldn't be an airdrop target.

Just do it against BTS only. It sucks if you were effectively scammed by the NBS folk into giving up your BTS, but including that chain in the genesis distribution is pretty much making DFS dead on arrival tbh.
