@jademont

Why have you approved bitcrabs proposal to create new assets and lower the CR of the commitee account to nearly 2 when the community consensus on the WP was that no new asset will be allowed to create if the Ratio is under 4 ?
That WP has been only approved because of that high CR ratio.

Who or what gave you the right to break the community consensus without even informing about it the community ?

Stop talking nonsense. Here is quote from original proposal of BitCrab (last edit in MARCH 2018)

2. operators need to take good care while operate with debt positions, as an initial rough principle, when BTS price is under 2CNY:
while collateral ratio > 4, borrowing more smartcoin is allowed.
while 4>collateral ratio>3, smartcoin income can be used to buy more BTS, but borrowing more smartcoin is not allowed.
while 3>collateral ratio, smartcoin income need to be used to reduce debt position, buying more BTS is not allowed.

There was already definition of

ratio above 4
under 4
under 3
and terms to stick to it.

Now please stop spamming forum, next post and thrashing other threads with your constant attacking will be reported to Admin/Moderator.

Stakeholder Proposals / Re: Proxy: xeroc
« on: August 11, 2018, 05:53:59 am »
He didn't since there is still no transparancy,no rules bitcrab is sticking to,high risk getting margin called,interference with
other fund,price manipulation,buying own margin call etc.....

There is nothing about it.
Asking myself why its so difficult for bitcrab to give away control of the commitee cnytrader account were abit made a great post how this can be solved .

The international community said at the beginning bitcrab is the wrong person holding that account based on his margin history and they were right.
He pushed the commitee accounts under a Ratio of 2 which is unacceptable and without any consensus of the community.
He had only the consensus of ebit and jademont who should be also responsable for not upholding the consensus

I believe thanks to bitcrab that CNY exists and has liquidity in the first place.

Why are you as Proxy and Commitee member being silent to these accusation and questions ?

Don't you feel you should explain why you still keep supporting Bitcrabs WP even there has nothing changed.

There are still no public rules or any transparency ?

Don't you have an obligation as proxy and commitee member to inform your voters why you decide this way ?

He did. Read above:

Yes, it could happen that the wall would stay in place for some time if the price difference between CEX and DEX would be too small for arbitrage to be worth of effort. But I still cannot imagine that there would not be a single person in the world who would like to get free money, even if it would be just 0.001% of 1 million of bitUSD :)

When you pay trading fee on BitUSD that profit would be gone already.

Stakeholder Proposals / Re: [Witness proposal] btspp-witness(双语)

Please keep it English (if you want the non-chinese community to be involved)

For the future posts, yes please.

That's a great article for the basics!

The real war begins when you do routing, observers and more sophisticated architecture. In both cases you can do that an ugly and a less ugly way ;)

Yeah, I've came with my learning to point of reading on "Routers" of both React.js and Vue.js framework, and from perspective of a noob/beginner - Vue is winning for now. One page, structured content, from a to z, while React provides much more (including trainingcenter) but the structure of it is for someone more skilled than newbie. Again publicly, Vue is supported more by Asian community, so probably there is TrainingCenter in Cantonese/Chinese that i can't google up.

@fav

Very nice read for beginners, I wish I've started from here, would be understanding difference in basics much more easy. Should share it on Steem if you haven't done so, a lot of React/Vue potential there.

Can you please provide a block producer for the testnet as well?
To get my votes, I usually look how well they perform on the testnet (block production only, no price feeds).

My testnet block producer is running since early may and active since 12/05/2018. The account is: witness-zapata.

I also consider that running a testnet block producer is a mandatory task for a witness. I always test my changes on testnet before applying them on mainnet. It was also required for some developments. I am trying to keep it as stable as the main one.

On testnet, I missed 579 blocks so far:
  • the first ~540 was because initially I didn't put the correct private/public key pair, and didn't notice that I was activated. To prevent the issue on mainnet I monitor the activation (see this commit)
  • then I missed ~20 to update the version and at that time I was not running a backup node;
  • 1 block missed for a non investigated issue (short network loss);
  • then I missed ~15 block during my chaos testing to validate the backup procedures: I switch signing key after 3 blocks, and I tested muliple cases.
Note that I have heavely updated the underlying servers and kubernetes cluster while running the witness without issues.

Voted (just humble ~200k BTS). I have a testnet witness, so I can co-relate with issues you had and highly appreciate your precision in reporting.

Many thanks Fav!

Fact is that Fav's vote was the one making Worker having more than enough votes to start tomorrow, I would like to appreciate time and trust you've shown us and announce that we are starting today (even WP starts tomorrow) with Node upgrade/management and will start adding them to the wallet, one at the time how we get it fully prepared for Public API use.

Many thanks to everyone one more time!

@Digital Lucifer
Hi and thank you for your review and comments.

Re: Outdated Job Manager plugin – thanks for noticing. I've forwarded your comments to our developers.

Re: Rates. At ROSSUL we never work on an hourly basis for multiple reasons, we believe it is much easier for our clients to know exactly what they are going to pay for a solution to their problem. Therefore we do not quote based on how many screens need designing, or how much time we spend on crafting the solution. If the scope is not changed during the project the quote doesn't change.

Re: "Documentation preparing and process". The initial phase is the Research Phase that we need to discuss and set up success criteria and metrics, we need to research and create user personas to know who we design for,their goals, and mental models. We need to interview and analyze the responses of the stakeholders and ensure we are all on the same page with aligned expectation and goals. That includes all team members on our side too. The outcome of this phase: Goals and Metrics documents, Persona files, compiled stakeholder feedback, High-level functional specs, etc. Unfortunately, we cannot publish research documents publicly because of strict NDAs. We design commercial products and most of them are not available to the public. The financial industry is very sensitive in that respect as you know.

Re: Time allocation. Roughly, the research phase will take about 1/4 of the design time. 2/4 go into workflows and wireframing. 1/4 goes into skin design.

We'll be publishing more info as we receive more questions. Probably here or on Steemit.

Thanks again for your interest and questions.

ROSSUL

Many thanks for this reply!

* re Rossul website - You are most welcome. Website deserves proper management with that kick-ass results!
* re Costs/prices - its very common nowadays in IT development to have fixed prices for packages where "extra features"/"Additional requests" would be added to invoice. Thanks for this explanation.
* re Discussion/Research - as being supported by Rudex who is active part of this community as gateway, 3rd party exchange, development team, UI FORK of BitShares and a paid block producer, i fail to see why you have to do research and collect funds from the blockchain for the knowledge already available right here on this forum (public opinions, feedback on UI), Rudex who is very reliable and rich resource of knowledge and not to mention github for UI team and all the issues opened there.

For that last one, i just think its waste of time and resources for already existing/built knowledge database, well known to people introduced you here.

Anyhow, since i'm managing worker who is similar to this one (just not competitive to UI team or yourself or anyone else, since we are doing Community Wallet), I had to do due diligence on you guys, in order to show it was with no bad intentions:

WE, as myself and Trusty team (who set me up as a proxy) give you our modest VOTE on your proposal, to support healthy and creative spirit of both teams and your workers!

Best of luck and one more time many thanks for your offer,

Milos DL Preocanin.

Thanks,

Now missing part:

1. Based on what ground you did price estimate of entire project, including design and implementations with API and new functionality (that is still unknown) to the penny and what rates you've been applying (hourly, corporate predefined rates, etc...) ?
2. "Transfer an existing project", could you please elaborate more on this item ?
3. Can we see example of "Documentation preparing and process" you've done for previous clients that costs 25200 USD ? Any REAL example of your portfolio ?
4. I heard question from Fuzzy can you list one of those "New functionalities", but actually failed to catch any of it prepared ?
5. at the cost of ~51k USD a month fixed, and 4.5 months duration of this project, how much time you plan to invest in :
a) research and interviews
b) documentation and build markup
c) design
d) Actual implementation of everything from a), b) and c).

Thanks.

Yeah, for me fine and loading already! +5 for fast recovery and fixes in the offer.

Now just reply to my initial feedback and i'm good :)

Thanks in advance!

Cheers.

Saved SCS of entire page, in order - > from header to footer.

Hope this helps more clarity - re my reply/feedback above.

Cheers

and please add a reference currency to every asset. eg. let me know the current $ price when I trade bts with whatever asset. I hate going to external marketcap sites just to find out what bts is worth to do the math

Hah, i hear you well. Its in the mockup already, but so sorry that mockup is still not at high quality so its very difficult to see. I will try to get higher quality/sharper version asap!

Until then, example as per mockups presented within worker (zoomed in and pointed out):

Cheers
